San Diegans know that fall doesn’t really start for us until it’s already winter everywhere else. Nevertheless, we try as much as we can to make it happen. In order for us to do so we have to rely on fall garments that come in lighter fabrics as well as on trendy accessories.
One of the beauties of living in San Diego is that it allows me to take road trips to a variety of places that are an hour or two away, and if I really feel like being on the road for a little longer, I can easily get to places like L.A., Big Bear Mountain, Vegas or the Grand Canyon. So whenever we get a chance, Chris and I take little leisure and work (I know, the perks of working with social media) trips around here.
I just wanted to start out by saying that I feel really lucky that I got the chance to take two back-to-back trips to Palm Springs. Two totally different trips that made me realize how versatile and welcoming the city is.
Move over, Starbucks’ pink drink, it’s time for the real royalty to shine! And I mean, literally shine.
If you haven’t heard of S3 Coffee Bar, a San Diego based coffee shop, you’re missing out BIG TIME. They have the cutest and most delicious coffee and tea drinks in town. Trust me, if you’ve read my previous posts, you know I’m pretty much a coffee shop connoisseur. If you don’t leave in SD, but happen to visit the city, make this place your must go stop, because I’m telling you, that place is about to become the next Instagram fever.
This is my first time writing about DIY projects! Yay!
I’ve been seeing the marble tray craze everywhere, and always felt like I was missing out for not having one. I’ve exhaustively tried to find one that was both pretty and affordable, but most options out there don’t fit both categories, so I decided to create my own marble tray using basically 3 things: an old wooden tray, spray paint and contact paper.
One of the things I get constantly asked is how Chris and I manage to live and work together, especially because we both work “from home.” So I thought it’d be interesting to clarify what we do and how we do it, and hopefully inspire some of you to start your own business with you S.O.
